We wanted to get this done for Dad since we saw the Life History package advertised. His 70th birthday gave us the perfect opportunity. He just loved talking about all the old times and getting all his photos ready. The whole family watched it with him on his Birthday night and boy did he feel like he was the centre of attention. He keeps playing it over and over. Thanks to Remember When Dad will always be with us now.

If you think the time is right to capture the life history and character of a family member or close friend on video Remember When can help.
Working closely with that person Remember When will plot all the significant events of his or her life.
We will then conduct a 20-30 minute video interview which will capture the unique personality behind the life stories.
If at all possible this interview will take place in a studio setting.
At the editing stage we will incorporate favourite photos, video clips, music, etc to complete that story.
If the viewing of the DVD forms part of a 60th, 70th or 80th birthday celebration then the company can offer you two additional features free of charge.
A fireworks display placed on the DVD can be accessed to highlight some highpoint of the evening e.g. a cake being brought in.
Absent family members or friends can still be part of the evening by using our unique photo/phone message service which can be accessed at the touch of a button.
We will also personalise the DVD disc by placing a favourite photograph of the client on the face of the disc.
A different photo selection can be placed on the cover of a special presentation box that will complete your DVD package.
Five free copies of the DVD will be provided to the immediate family
This DVD is sure to become the highlight of any birthday celebration but perhaps more importantly it will become a family treasure enjoyed by generations to come.
Gold Package - €1000
- Extensive research into the client's family history and up to six one-hour sessions with the client, consulting about life events and topics to be covered.
- Extensive cataloguing of client's photograph collection, video libraries, music and all other material which might feature in the video.
- Consultation with the client's nearest and dearest to find out whether they would like any favourite story, song or recitation, etc. included in the production.
- Preparation of questions to be asked based on the lengthy consultations with client and family. (These agreed questions will then be forwarded to client for final approval.)
- Video interview with client for 2 hours approx (with several breaks).
- 4 - 6 hours editing during which photographic material will be enhanced, video footage converted, raw video footage edited to rough-cut stage.
- After rough-cut there will be more consultation with the client to decide the shape and content of the final cut.
- Final cut and burn to top quality DVD and delivery to client.
- Five copies of DVD provided free of charge.
- Special presentation case fully personalized with client's photo.
